Last week Apple released their new MacBook Pro 2013 with Retina display in both 13 inch and 15 inch versions, and now a number of owners of these new devices are reporting a number of issues.
There seems to be a few different threads over at Apple’s support forum, with some users experiencing lockups with the track pad and keyboard, on the new MacBook Pro, and other users having issues with Bootcamp.
A number of people are having issues with Bootcamp, whilst trying to install Microsoft’s Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, and users seem to be having an issue when Bootcamp creates a partition to install Windows 8.
There is apparently a fix for the issue with Bootcamp and Windows 8, although there is no fix for the freezing issue on the keyboard and track pad, and it appears an SMC reset does not fix the issue.
There does not appear to be any official word from Apple on the above issues with the new MacBook Pro 2013, hopefully there will be some sort of official details from Apple soon.
The new 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pros were announced last week, the come with Intel’s latest Haswell processor and share the same design as last years model.
As soon as we get some more details on what Apple is doing to fix these various issues on the new MacBook Pro range, we will let you guys know.
