Hewlett-Packard has this week unveiled a new addition of their HP EliteBook x360 laptop for 2018, which now includes LTE connectivity and a lighter and smaller form factor yet still providing the versatility of a 360 hinge and five different working configurations. Marketed as the “world’s thinnest 13 inch business convertible” the EliteBook x360 2018 laptop is now 10 percent smaller than the previous version and offers thinner bezels around the display.
Specifications of the 2018 laptop include HP Sure Click protects your PC from websites infected with malware, ransomware or viruses, the ability to manage your PC remotely and monitor performance with HP WorkWise, IR camera, fingerprint sensor, or smart card reader for multiple layers of security and of course support for the HP Manageability Integration Kit.
Other features include 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI, and a single Micro SD port and an optional portable display that connects to the laptop using USB-C. Which can be purchased separately and has been specifically designed to be used with the new EliteBook x360 laptop and other enterprise notebooks and will be available during July 2018 priced at $219 offering a 14 inch display and a resolution of 1080p.
