Motorola announced their Xoom Android Honeycomb tablet last month, we got to see all the specifications and details, but there was one thing that everyone wanted to know, the price.
Motorola has now officially confirmed the pricing on the Xoom tablet, there will be two versions available at launch a WiFi only version which will retail for $600 and a WiFi and 3G version which will retail for $799.
Motorola has yet to give an official launch date for the Xoom, although we are expecting it to go on sale later this month or at the beginning of March.
The Motorola Xoom is one of the first tablets to use Android 3.0 Honeycomb, it features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, there is also a 1GHz dual core processor and two cameras.
The camera on the back of the Xoom is a 5 megapixel camera which can record High Definition video in 720p, the front facing camera is a 2 megapixel version for video chat.
Other specifications on the Motorola Xoom include HDMI, plus the ability to play back Full High Definition video in 1080p, there is also an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope and a compass.
