Motorola officially announced their new Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet recently, the Motorola Xoom, when it was announced we heard that there would be a 3G version launching first and then a 4G LTE version launching later in the year.
Good news if you are interested in the Xoom tablet and don’t want to sign up to a monthly data contract as it looks like Motorola will also be launching a WiFi only version of the Xoom tablet.
Motorola will launch a WiFi only Xoom tablet in April this year, and the specifications are expected to be very similar to the model announced recently.
The Motorola Xoom Tablet will feature Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also features a dual core 1GHz processor.
Other specifications on the Motorola Xoom Android 3.0 tablet include dual cameras, with a 2 megpixel camera on the front and a 5 megapixel camera on the rear, the rear camera is capable of recording HD video in 720p.
There are no details as yet on how much the WiFi only Motorola Xoom will retail for, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
