Yesterday we heard that some Motorola smartphones may end up being banned in Germany, the news came after a recent patent case, and would affect the Motorola Moto G and Moto X in Germany.
We have just received an official statement from Motorola, and the company has said that it has taken steps to make sure that it devices are not banned in Germany, you can see the official Motorola statement below.
A Motorola Spokesperson comments, “Motorola has taken steps to avoid interruption in supply or recall issues by using components from an authorized source in its phones that are currently shipping.”
So it looks like the company has ensure that sales of the Motorola Moto G and Moto X will continue in Germany, which is good news for consumers.
The news came yesterday from a company called LKPF, who has taken Motorola to court for allegedly using their antenna design in both handsets.
As yet there are no details on exactly what the company has done to ensure the handsets remain on sale, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
