Moto M went official in China two weeks ago carrying a XT1662 model number, but it seems the handset is set to make an appearance in some other markets as well.
Recently, the new Moto M with model number XT1664 made an appearance in the UAE with a number of changes compared to the version introduced in China.
This variant comes with stock Android on board, and the company says it will work with all U.S. carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
As for other changes, the handset comes with a Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz instead of MediaTek Helio P15 SoC. The device also comes with 3GB of RAM/32GB of internal storage, along with one sporting the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage found on the XT1662, coupled with a microSD card slot.
Othe features includes a 16MP main camera for photos and videos, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,050 mAh battery and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word about the pricing of the handset, but it won’t be long before we get to know about the official pricing for various regions.
