The new Microsoft Surface Book 2 is now available to pre-order on the UK, the device was made official last month and it comes with the latest Intel Core processors. Microsoft have started taking pre-order on the device at their online store and it is also available to pre-order from Currys PC World.
Prices for the Surface Book 2 start at £1,499 for the entry level Core i5 model with 8GB of RAM, there is also a Core i7 model with 8GB of RAM that costs £1,999. There are two other models of the Core i7 available, one with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM for £2,499 and the other with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM for £2,999.
The new level of performance provided by Surface Book 2, along with the all-day battery life is what will continue to make this product perfect for product designers, gamers, architects, and developers who need the power of a desktop but crave the mobility of a laptop that doesn’t weigh 8-10lbs. Surface Book 2 with the 13” weighs 3.38lbs and the 15” Surface Book 2 at 4.2lbs, there has never been this much computational power in a mobile form factor this light.
