Meizu has announced its latest smartphone, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus, and the handset has had a number of upgrades over the original Pro 6.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is equipped with a 5.7 inch OLED display that features a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This high-resolution display ensures that users get a crisp and vibrant viewing experience, making it ideal for watching videos, playing games, and browsing the web.
Powerful Performance
The handset is powered by a Samsung Exynos 8990 processor, which is known for its high performance and efficiency. This processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and a responsive user experience. Whether you’re running multiple apps simultaneously or playing graphics-intensive games, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is designed to handle it all with ease.
In addition to its powerful processor and ample RAM, the device also features a 3400 mAh battery. This sizeable battery capacity ensures that the phone can last through a full day of heavy usage without needing a recharge. The inclusion of USB C means faster charging and data transfer speeds, which is a significant upgrade over traditional micro USB ports.
Advanced Camera Capabilities
On the front of the Meizu Pro 6 Plus, there is a 5-megapixel camera designed for selfies and video calls. This front-facing camera is equipped with various features to enhance your selfies, such as beauty modes and filters. On the back of the device, there is a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens. This rear camera is capable of capturing high-quality photos and videos, even in low-light conditions. The f/2.0 aperture allows more light to enter the lens, resulting in clearer and more detailed images.
The camera also includes advanced features such as phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and laser autofocus, which help in quickly focusing on subjects, reducing blur, and capturing sharp images. Additionally, the camera supports 4K video recording, allowing users to capture their moments in stunning detail.
Design and Build Quality
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus boasts a sleek and premium design, with a metal unibody that not only looks stylish but also feels sturdy in hand. The phone’s slim profile and curved edges make it comfortable to hold and use. The OLED display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which adds an extra layer of durability against scratches and minor drops.
Software and Features
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus runs on Flyme OS, which is Meizu’s custom skin based on Android. Flyme OS offers a unique user interface with various customization options, themes, and features that enhance the overall user experience. The OS is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for users to navigate through the phone’s features and settings.
Connectivity and Storage
In terms of connectivity, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. These connectivity options ensure that users can stay connected to the internet, share files, and navigate with ease. The phone also comes with ample storage options, with variants offering up to 128GB of internal storage. This provides plenty of space for apps, photos, videos, and other media.
The new Meizu Pro 6 Plus will be launching in China soon, and it is expected to be available in other markets shortly after. As yet, there are no details on pricing, but given its high-end specifications and features, it is likely to be competitively priced.
