Watch the video below to learn more about this new DMX control system that is taken to Kickstarter to raise the required funds to make the jump into production. Its creators explain a little more :
After spending hours setting up lights for a mutual friend’s band, the founders of Lucid Labs decided that there must be a better option than expensive, difficult-to-setup analog DMX control boards. We conducted some research and discovered an abundance of great free or low-cost DMX lighting control software; we just needed a USB to DMX interface. Unfortunately existing productswere far more expensive than they needed to be. We set out to create a cost effective solution for DMX control. As a result we decided to make a more economical hobby USB-DMX interface, the Cipher Lite. Our interfaces are capable of controlling 512 Channels of DMX lighting.
