This week Lock8 have now secured the required funding with 6 days to spare and currently have $55,000 to spend brings their bicycle smart lock to manufacture. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Lock8 project and see it in action.
The Lock8 project is currently over on the Kickstarter website so if you think Lock8 is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Lock8 become a reality. The Lock8 team explain the plan now they have secured funding for manufacture.
“Thanks to all of you we hit our kickstarter goal! This is a great moment and we can now kick-on to revolutionise bike security and sharing. We just can’t wait to post your brand new lock8 to you in the next coming months!
However this isn’t the end. We now have our eyes set on stretch-goal where we will give you, all our awesome backers, free data subscription for one whole year. We shall be aiming for £60,000 in the remaining seven days and we know with your help we can stretch this little bit further for this superb reward. So, what now for Lock8? Very soon we will be sending each one of you a survey questionnaire which will require you to fill in, complete and send back to us. This Survey will detail all your order specifics and delivery details so we can get on with the good stuff and start producing your lock as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep interacting with comments and messages here and make sure you follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook to stay up to date with any breaking news or stories.
On behalf of all the Lock8 team we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are so appreciative of all the loyal support you guys have shown through comments, pokes, shares, likes, tweets, re-tweets, votes and emails!!”
