Wearable gadgets are becoming popular. Many manufacturers have released their wearable devices, including Sony and Samsung, as well as Pebble. Other manufacturers are also expected to enter this market, including Apple and other manufacturers.
According to a new report from Korean media, LG’s rumored smartwatch will be dubbed as G Arch. Additionally, it is also rumored that LG will also launch a health and fitness tracking wristband know as G Health.
Although it’s not totally confirmed if LG will launch a wearable device or not, but if the report from Korean shores is to be believed, the purported LG G Arch will make its first official appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2014, which will take place in Barcelona from February 24-27th next year.
There’s no word about the pricing or specifications of the device, but it should be compatible with LG handsets — similar to what Samsung did with its Galaxy Gear. There’s no word if it will be compatible with all Android smartphones or even all LG handsets running Android.
There’s no guarantee if the rumor is correct or not so some salt is required to digest this one. We’ll update you if any other information comes up about the purported smartwatch.
