Last week we heard that Google has apparently handed out some of their new Nexus smartphones to employees, the device is apparently based on LG’s Optimus G handset, and now it looks like this new Nexus phone will launch by the end of October.
According to a recent report from Cnet, the device will come with Android 4.2 and it will be unveiled around the end of the month, and it is expected to feature very similar hardware to the LG Optimus G.
The Nexus version of the LG Optimus G is expected to feature a quad core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and a 1280 x 768 True-High Definition IPS display, plus an 8 megapixel camera and a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage, plus an microSD card slot.
We should have full details on the new LG Optimus G Nexus smartphone, and also the new Android 4.2 OS when the device is officially unveiled later this month.
