The new LG G5 will be made official at Mobile World Congress next month, LG are holding a press event the day before MWC 2016 kicks off on the 21st of February.
Now a handset with the model number LG-H830 has been spotted in the UAProf of LG’s website, the device is listed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and this is probably their new LG G5.
We previously heard that the G5 would come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM, the handset is also rumored to come with a 5.6 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other rumored specifications on the new G5 from LG include 64GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
The device will also come with high end cameras on the front and back, the front camera is said to features 8 megapixels and will be designed for Selfies, the rear camera with feature a 1/2 inch sensor and will come with a 20 megapixel camera, it is expected to be capable of recording 4K video.
It is not clear as yet on what the design will be like on the new G5, whether LG will do something similar to the G4 remains to be seen. We will have full details about LG’s new flagship smartphone when it is made official next month.
