The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicks off next week, and according to a recent report, both Sony and LG will reveal some new 8K TVs.

We saw a range of new 4K TVs at CES last year, and both companies will launch a new range of 8K resolution TVs this year.

LG will also announce a new range of Art Slim TVs, which are said to measure between 7.5mm and 8.2mm thick and these will come in a range of display sizes including 55 inch and 65 inch models.

We can expect to see the price of current 4K TVs fall next year with the introduction of these new 8K TVs, and sales of these higher resolution TVs are expected to increase significantly in 2015.

As soon as we get some more details on exactly what Sony and LG have planned for their new range of 8K TVs, we will let you guys know.
