Lenovo has announced a new smartphone at IFA 2013, the Lenovo Vibe X, which comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and features a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Lenovo Vibe X comes with a quad-core 1.5GHz MT6859T processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. Additionally, it is equipped with a 2,000 mAh battery, which should provide a decent amount of usage time for most users.

Camera Capabilities
Other specifications on the Lenovo Vibe X include a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is expected to deliver high-quality photos and videos. On the front of the handset is a 5-megapixel camera designed for video chat and selfies. The front camera’s wide-angle lens ensures that you can capture more in your frame, making it ideal for group selfies and video calls.
Design and Build
The Lenovo Vibe X is not just about performance; it also boasts a sleek and stylish design. The smartphone is incredibly thin, measuring just 6.9mm in thickness, and it weighs only 121 grams. This makes it one of the lightest and thinnest smartphones in its category. The device features a polycarbonate body with a laser-engraved fabric-feel surface, which not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also provides a comfortable grip.
The 5-inch full HD display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which offers enhanced scratch resistance and durability. The display itself is vibrant and sharp, making it perfect for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games.
Software and Features
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Lenovo Vibe X offers a smooth and responsive user experience. The operating system comes with a host of features, including Google Now, which provides personalized information and updates based on your preferences and usage patterns. The device also supports a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Lenovo has also included some of its proprietary apps and features to enhance the user experience. For instance, the phone comes with Lenovo’s Smart Camera software, which offers various shooting modes and editing tools to help you capture the perfect shot. There is also a built-in security app that helps protect your device from malware and unauthorized access.
Performance and Battery Life
The quad-core 1.5GHz MT6859T processor, combined with 2GB of RAM, ensures that the Lenovo Vibe X can handle multitasking and demanding applications with ease. Whether you’re playing graphics-intensive games, streaming high-definition videos, or running multiple apps simultaneously, the device is designed to deliver smooth and lag-free performance.
The 2,000 mAh battery, while not the largest in its class, should provide sufficient power for a full day of moderate usage. Lenovo has also included some power-saving features to help extend battery life, such as the ability to optimize background processes and reduce screen brightness when the battery is running low.
