Those of you that have been patiently waiting for Lenovo to make available their new Lenovo ThinkPad A285 after unveiling the laptop back in May 2018. Will be pleased to know that the hardware manufacturer has now officially launched the ThinkPad A285 Japan. Priced at a promotional limited time $885, the list price for the new business laptop starts from $1550.
To recap the Lenovo ThinkPad A285 is equipped with a 12.5 inch 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS touchscreen display putting the laptop in the compact business class of systems. Options to power the laptop take the form of AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 2200U, Ryzen 5 Pro 2500U, and Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U processor, which can be supported by up to 16 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM. Internal storage takes the form of PCIe NVMe which can be installed up to a size of 512GB.
Other features on the business laptop include a fingerprint sensor to keep your documents safe and out of prying eyes, a handy microSD card reader and 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports and HDMI 1.4.
Unfortunately, no details have been revealed by Lenovo when the ThinkPad A285 will be available to purchase in other countries around the world or at what price. But the sooner small details are announced we will keep you up to speed as always.
