Kobo has announced their latest e-reader, the Kobo Aura HD, which features a 6.8 inch Pearl E Ink display with a resolution of 1440 x 1080 pixels at 265 dpi, according to Kobo it offers 30 percent more reading surface than their previous model.
The Kobo Aura HD is powered by a 1GHz processor, according to Kobo this is the fastest e-reader available, and it also comes with 4GB of build in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
The Aura HD will retail for $169.99 and it will be available in a range of colors, which include Ivory, Espresso and Onyx, it will launch in Canada and the UK on the 25th of April, there are no details on a US release date as yet.
