Earlier today we heard some rumored specifications on the new 4.7 inch iPhone 6, now the handset has appeared in the Geekbench benchmarks, and the specifications appear to be slightly different than the ones we heard earlier.
We previously heard that the new iPhone 6 would feature a quad core Apple A8 processor, although according to Geekbench, the handset will come with a dual core A8 processor.
Memory for the handset has also been revealed, we had previously hoped that the handset would come with 2GB of RAM, although according to the benchmark, the device will come with 1GB of RAM, the device was running iOS 8, and came with the model number iPhone 7,2.
The previous leaked details included a 4.7 inch sapphire glass display with a resolution of 1134 x 750 pixels, the handset is also said to come with a new 2.1 megapixel front face camera and an updated 8 megapixel rear camera.
Apple are expected to launch the new iPhone 6 in three colors, gold, white and black, and the device is also rumored to be resistant to both dust and water. We will have more details on the new 4.7 inch iPhone 6 later today, there is also a possibility that we will see the 5.5 inch model at the event as well.
