Apple recently released their first beta of iOS 12.1.2 and now we have some speed test videos of iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1 vs iOS 12.1.1.
The new beta of Apple’s iOS is run side by side with the current release of iOS 12.1.1 on a range of devices that include the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, first up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the iPhone 5S video the handset running the current iOS 12.1.1 booted up a split second faster than the new beta, there are no speed improvements in the apps, next we have the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6 video the handset running the new iOS 12.1.2 beta 1 booted up a split second faster than the device with the current iOS release. There are no major speed improvements in the apps, next we have the iPhone 6S.
As we can see from the video the iPhone 6S running the current iOS 12.1.1 software booted up a couple of seconds faster than the handset with the new beta. There are no speed improvements in the apps, next up is the iPhone 7.
With the video of the iPhone 7 handsets the device running the current iOS 12.1.1 software booted up a split second faster than the handset with the iOS 12.1.2 beta, there were no major speed improvements in the apps, finally we have the iPhone 8.
As we can see from the video of the iPhone 8 the devcie running the current iOS 12.1.1 software booted up faster than the device with the new beta. There are no speed improvements in the apps.
It looks like there are no major speed improvements in iOS 12.1.2 so far over the current software, as this is the first beta, this may change by the time the final version of the software is released.
