Next month on 15th September Microsoft will be releasing their latest beta version of the new Internet Explorer 9 browser in a special event.
The new IE9 beta requires either Windows Vista or Windows 7 but unfortunately not XP. It will also require users to remove their current installation of Internet Explorer for the installation.
The key features of IE9 is its support for HTML5, an improved JavaScript engine, and the ability to use a computer’s graphics chip to accelerate text and image rendering.
The event invitations for the launch event of IE9 beta ‘Beauty of the web’ were sent out in the form of a riddle:
“To RSVP, they have to complete a word puzzle by typing the letters shown on the screen :Unlock the _ _ _ _ _ _ web. The letters they have to work with are V E A N T I and the solution is a single word.,”
Answers to Microsoft please.
