Imagin3D has this week taken to Kickstarter to launch their new 3D printer enclosure designed for the Anet A8 3D printer. The acrylic enclosure has been specifically designed for the Anet A8 improving the printing capability and safety of the desktop machine and offering a design engineered with the user in mind. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about its construction and crowdfunding campaign.
Once the new 3D printer enclosure is fitted to your Anet A8 your printing be able to benefit from a warmer print environment reduces cracking and warping, better layer bonding , higher achievable bed temperatures , save energy through thermal efficiencies , expect printer to heat up faster and eliminate environmental inconsistencies such as drafts.
“Open 3D printers can be a hazard for anyone and anything that come into contact with them. Print nozzles, especially, can be extremely dangerous because of their high temperatures and rapid movement. Our enclosure prevents accidents from happening by placing a barrier between your printer and the outside world. In addition, our design does not enclose the main circuit board or the power supply. This reduces the chance of component failure caused by high heat. We have tested this enclosure for hundreds of hours to ensure that our product puts your safety first.”
