The new Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is the latest device to get taken apart by the guys from iFixit, the handset comes with a 7.2 inch OLED display that features a FHD+ resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels.
The handset is powered by an octa core Kirin 980 processor and it also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of included storage.
Other specifications include a 4200 mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge and it comes with triple rear cameras, one 40 megapixel, one 20 megapixel and one 8 megapixel camera. On the front of the device there is a 24 megapixel camera.
When iFixit takes a smartphone or other device apart, they looks at a number of things to determine how easy the device is to repair. They then give the device a score of between 1 and 10, 1 being very difficult to repair and 10 being easy to repair.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G only managed to score 4 out of 10, one of the reasons for the low score is because the front and rear glass are glued down, making them difficult to remove.
