The HTC One will launch on Sprint next Friday the 19th of April, the handset is available to pre-order from Sprint, and now the carrier has dropped the price of the handset to new customers.
Sprint are offering the HTC for $99 when you take out a new two year contract with the carrier, the handset was previously up for pre-order for $199, and it will be available at the reduced price for a limited time.
The HTC One comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and features a a 4.7 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 468 pixels per inch, processing is in the form of a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with a clock speed of 1.7GHz.
The HTC One also comes with 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, it also uses HTC’s new Ultrapixel camera and HTC’s custom HTC Sense 5 user interface.
HTC’s Ultrapixel camera on the HTC One comes with an f/2.0 lens, HTC says that their new camera sensor is capable of collecting 300 percent more light, it also features a pair of front facing speakers and Beats Audio.
