One handset we have been hearing a lot about over the last few weeks is the HTC One Mini 2, the handset is now official and we have all the details on the new smaller HTC One Mini 2.
The HTC One Mini 2 comes with a 4.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
“The latest member of the award-winning HTC One family distills the advanced features that have earned it global acclaim, into an elegant, compact handset,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC. “Its size and tapered edges fit perfectly in a hand, pocket or purse, making it look great and feel even better to use. It’s the perfect choice for those who love the iconic design of the HTC One (M8) yet want something more compact.”
The new HTC One Mini 2 comes with 1GB or RAM and 16GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot which offers support for 128GB cards.
Other specifications on the new HTC One Mini 2 include a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video chat, on the back there is a 13 megapixel camera, both cameras are capable of full HD video in 1080p.
The HTC One Mini 2 also comes with a 2,100 mAh battery, and the device features NFC, WiFi, HTC Boomsound, a pair of front stereo speakers and DLNA.
The new HTC One Mini 2 will come in three colors, Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Grey and Amber Gold, it will launch in EMEA and Asia next month, and will then be rolled out to other countries.
