As well as announcing their new Facebook smartphones, HTC also announced a new Android tablet, the HTC Flyer, which comes with a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and runs on Google Android 2.4 Gingerbread.
Processing on the HTC Flyer is provided by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, and it even comes with a stylus, not something we have seen on any of the new tablets being released recently.
The HTC Flyer features a new version of HTC’s Sense UI, and it will also feature gaming from OnLive, a company that HTC recently invested in. There is also a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera for photos and video.
The HTC Flyer also features a 4,000mAh battery can comes with WiFi and HSPA+ connectivity, it will go on sale in quarter two of 2011, there are no details on pricing as yet.
