The HTC Butterfly launched back in 2012, and now HTC has confirmed that the handset will get the new Android 4.4 Kit Kat update.
HTC were asked on Facebook if the handset would be getting the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, and they confirmed that the update for the handset should be coming soon.
The HTC Butterfly S, which was released last year, recently received the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, As yet there are no details on when the older version of the handset will get the update.
The Android 4.4 Kit Kat update will bring a range of new features to the original HTC Butterfly, and it is good to see that HTC is releasing Kit Kat to some of its older devices.
All we know as the moment is that the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update is ‘coming soon’ to the original HTC Butterfly, as soon as we get some more details on when it will be available, we will let you guys know.
