HTC were asked on Facebook if the handset would be getting the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, and they confirmed that the update for the handset should be coming soon.
The HTC Butterfly S, which was released last year, recently received the Android 4.4 Kit Kat update. As yet, there are no details on when the older version of the handset will get the update.
New Features with Android 4.4 Kit Kat
The Android 4.4 Kit Kat update will bring a range of new features to the original HTC Butterfly. Some of the key enhancements include a more polished user interface, improved performance, and better memory management.
