Apple recently launched their new Mac Mini, the new Mac is the company’s most powerful mini computer to date.
Prices for the Mac Mini start at $799 and you can have it with up to 64GB of RAM, if you go for the 64GB of RAM option it is going to cost you an extra $1,400.
It looks like you will be able to upgrade the RAM yourself on the new Mac Mini, this can be seen in the video below from Brandon Geekabit.
Apple has obviously wanted to make it a little difficult for the average person with normal tools to open the device. You will need a T6 Torxx, T10 and T5 Torx screwdrivers for the device.
As yet there are no 64GB kits available for the new Mac Mini, that will change soon and you should be able to upgrade the RAM yourself for a lower cost than Apple.
