A new electric skateboard has been launched via Kickstarter this week from Mooserboards, offering a high speed electric longboard capable of over 50 km/h. The latest electric skateboard from the team features a controller offering 7 speed modes, from beginner to professional, and you can change direction with the push of a button, although as you might’ve guessed the longboard must be still when you change the direction between forward and backward. Check out the Kickstarter video below to learn more about the new electric skateboard which is now available from £473 with worldwide shipping expected to take place during August 2019.
The electric skateboard offers a range of up to 50 km and the extreme long range model is fitted with front and back lights, as well as a built in bluetooth speaker. “Admit it. Your whole life you have been dreaming about cruising on an electric longboard, fast as a Swedish moose. 50km/h+ with a range up to 35-50 kilometers. Aluminum core – 90MM polyurethane replaceable tires, 80A.”
“As you can see the board shows a top speed of 68km/h when having the highest speed mode, nr 7. However, the top speed is less with the weight of a rider. That’s why we advertise a top speed of 45-55km/h depending of weight of a normal rider, 65-90kg.”
