Back in December Mozilla release Firefox 34 with Yahoo as the default search engine, prior to that Google had been the default search on the browser.
Since the change, Yahoo has already gained a higher share of search than it had previously and now it looks like Google is trying to get Firefox users to switch from Yahoo.
According to a recent report by Search Engine Land, Google is now promoting Firefox users to switch from Yahoo to Google, have a look at the screenshot below.
As well as asking Firefox users to change their default search provide, Google is also encouraging users to set their homepage as Google, this can been seen in the screenshot below.
On top of that Google has also been asking Firefox users to switch back to Google on Twitter, have a look at the tweet below.

It will be interesting to see if these new tactics by Google enable them to gain back some of the users that they have lost to Yahoo.
