We mentioned yesterday that the Google Nexus Q was available in the Google Play store and shipping right away. Things changed overnight and as of this morning, Nexus Q shipments are delayed 2 to 3 weeks. It seems that overnight Google’s initial allotment of Nexus Q tablets has been sold out.
If you are thinking about buying one and didn’t order yesterday, you will have to wait for weeks now. The Nexus Q has integrated Wi-Fi and is designed to connect to your TV or audio system for streaming music and video. The device requires a smartphone or tablet running Android 2.3 or higher.
The MSRP of the Nexus Q is $299. It comes with the device, the power cable, an HDMI cable, and quick start guide. Internal storage is 16 GB of flash memory, the device uses a dual core OMAP4460 CPU and it has Bluetooth integrated among other features.
