We have been hearing rumors that the Google Nexus 5 release date would either be the 30th or 31st of October, and now more evidence has been revealed which points to a release date of the 30th of October.
Previously a Nexus 5 case appeared on Amazon with a release date of the 30th of October, and now a new case has been listed on amazon Italy, from a different manufacturer, also with a release date of the 30th of October.
The Google Nexus 5 will be the first smartphone to launch with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 4.4 Kit Kat, the handset is rumored to feature a 5 inch display.
The 5 inch display on the Nexus 5 will come with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will apparently be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship mobile processor, the quad core Snapdragon 800, the device is also said to come with 2GB of RAM.
Other rumored specifications on the Nexus 5 include a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage, the device will also feature two cameras.
On the front of the Google Nexus 5 there will be a 2 megapixel camera for video chat, the rear camera is said to be an advanced 8 megapixel version with optical image stabilization.
We are expecting some sort of official announcement from Google on the new Nexus 5 and also Android 4.4 Kit Kat over the next week or so, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
