Android 4.4 Kit Kat will launch with the new Google Nexus 5, we are expecting some sort of official announcement from Google On the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat over the next week or so.
The Nexus 5 is rumored to launch on either the 30th or 31st of October, and Android 4.4 Kit Kat will launch on the same day, Google has now posted a new Kit Kat teaser photo on Google+.
The photo was posted along with the tag line ‘Everybody dance now!’, which is a reference to Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by the C+C Music Factory.
Yesterday Google revealed that Android 4.4 will come with a standard set of SMS APIs, that developers will now have to use for any apps which are related to SMS.
We also saw a bunch of new screenshots for Kit Kat, which revealed some of the new features that will be included in the next version of Google’s smartphone and tablet OS.
Android 4.4 Kit Kat will come with a more polished look, Google are looking to appeal to more mainstream users with the latest version, and there will also be improvements to wireless printing.
One of the new features in Kit Kat will be native NFC payment options that will be built in to the OS, we are hoping to hear more details from Google on Android 4.4 over the next week.
