Google has announced that it is giving its YouTube video sharing platform a new design. The new YouTube gets a cleaner look and also a new range of features.
The YouTube app has got a new design as has the desktop version of YouTube and Google has applied their Material Design to YouTube’s new look.
Material Design and User Experience
Material Design is a design language developed by Google that emphasizes clean, minimalistic aesthetics and intuitive user experiences. By applying Material Design to YouTube, Google aims to create a more cohesive and visually appealing interface across all devices. One of the standout features of the new design is the Dark Theme. This feature turns the background dark while you watch videos, providing a more cinematic experience.
