It looks like Google has plans to bring their Google Assistant to Apple’s iPhone and iPad and it will apparently land on iOS soon.
Google are holding their I/O Developer Conference this week and the conference start tomorrow, they will apparently announce the launch of Google Assistant on the iPhone at the event.
The news comes in a report from Android Police who have received some details about the launch of the Google Assistant on the iPhone. The Assistant will not be integrated into any of Google’e existsing iOS apps, instead it will be released as a stand alone app.
According to their report, Google will launch the software in the US only at first on iOS, so those of us in other countries will have to wait a little longer for the app.
We will have more details about Google Assistant for iOS and information on what features it will have when it is announced at Google I/O later this week.
