A number of manufacturers have claimed that their smartphones are the worlds thinnest, until another company releases an even thinner one, and now we have the Gionee eLife S5.5 which is apparently the worlds thinnest handset.
The Gionee eLife S5.5 measures just 5.5 mm thick, and the device comes with a 5 inch display and is powered by a quad core 1.7GHz processor.
Other specifications on the Gionee eLife S5.5 include 2GB of RAM and it comes with the company’s Amigo android based OS.
The Gionee eLife S5.5 features front and rear facing cameras, with a five megapixel snapper up front for video chat and a thirteen megapixel camera on the back for photos and video.
The device will be available in both 3G and 4G LTE models, and the 3G model is now available to pre-order in China for around $370, the 4G LTE version of the Gionee eLife S5.5 will launch in June.
