Major Nelson has today announced the latest games that will be made available for free to Xbox Live Gold members next month during February 2016 on both Xbox One and the older generation Xbox 360.
Now that the latest Xbox One consoles supports Backward Compatibility, the Xbox 360 games being made available next month will also be available to play on Xbox One using the Xbox 360 compatibility feature. Xbox One games that will be made available for Xbox Live Gold members include the Hand of Fate from Feb 1st and Styx: Master of Shadows that will be available to download for free and play from February 16th until March 15th.
On the Xbox 360 console from February 1st Sacred Citadel will be available for free for Xbox Live Gold members until February 15th, after which Gears of War 2 will be made available until February 29th.
Microsoft explains : “Titles are available as free downloads for qualifying Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available. Some regions may offer different titles depending on market availability”.
