A number of people who signed up for the Fitbit Surge Smartwatch, when it was announced back in October, have been contacted by Fitbit, and offered the device under a ‘limited release’.
The Fitbit Surge smartwatch comes with a built in heart rate monitor and GPS, and the device is designed specifically for sports and fitness, the device has a total of eight different sensors to monitor your health and fitness.
The Surge will retail for $250, and apart from this limited release, it looks like the device is still scheduled for general release in early 2015, we suspect it will be made available some time in January.
