Gamers looking forward to the launch of the new Far Cry Primal game which is currently edging closer to launch and will be available worldwide in a few days time for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23rd, 2016.
As well as being available to play on PC systems from March 1st onwards, are sure to enjoy this new trailer which has been released to promote the Far Cry Primal Legend of the Mammoth DLC which is now available to grab and allows you to play as a mammoth in game.
Whilst playing as a mammoth you will receive three additional missions in the form of ‘Duel of Beasts,’ ‘Hunt the Hunters,’ and ‘The Trapped Elder’, check out the trailer below to learn more. Don’t forget to preorder soon to take advantage of this new DLC.
Far Cry Primal is set in 10,000 BCE, during the beginning of the Mesolithic period. It takes place in the fictional Oros valley in Central Europe, an open world filled with wildlife such as mammoths and saber-toothed cats. Survival is a daily challenge as tribes come into conflict with one another and nature.
Players take on the role of a Wenja tribesman named Takkar (Elias Toufexis), who is stranded in Oros with no weapons after his hunting party is ambushed. Takkar, using his newfound skill of taming animals, will eventually rise to power and lead his own tribe.
