EE is currently the only 4G LTE provider here in the UK, that is about to change this summer as the other networks will be launching 4G LTE in the UK this summer, and EE has announced that they will be doubling their 4G LTE speeds on their network.
EE are obviously trying to do as much as they can to stay ahead of the other networks, and they have announced that they will be boosting the speeds of their 4G LTE to 80 Mbps.
They will introduce the faster speeds this summer in a number of cities, which include Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Sheffield.
EE have also said that they will be doubling their 4G network capacity in the UK, and they are hoping to hit 1 million UK customers by the end of the year, it will be interesting to see what will happen when they get some competition from the other carriers this summer.
