Back in August EE announced that they were recalling some of their EE Power Bar battery chargers, the company recalled a batch of the devices due to safety concerns.
Now EE has announced that they are recalling all of their EE Power Bar devices due to a potential risk of the gadget catching fire, you can a statement from EE below.
We’re recalling all EE Power Bars. This is just a precaution, but we want to make sure all our customers are safe.
If you have a Power Bar, you should stop using it straight away and hand it in to one of our stores.
We are taking this action because we are aware of a very small number of further incidents where Power Bars have overheated in circumstances that could cause a fire safety risk.
The company has said that it will be giving all of the people who return their Power Bar a £20 voucher, the device can be returned to any EE store, you can find out more information at the link below.
EE have said that they are focused on the recall of the device at the moment and will provide more information in the future about a replacement device.
