In the US, HTC One on Verizon and Sprint already received the KitKat blessing, with the update under certifications for AT&T and T-Mobile. HTC even mentioned the HTC One Max and One Mini will get the taste of KitKat in March and April, respectively.
If you’re rocking a dual-SIM variant of the device in India, you may want to check your device for updates as Android 4.4 KitKat is rolling out in the region. It’s not just the Dual-SIM HTC One, HTC One Max and HTC One Mini are getting the latest update as well.
The news came directly from HTC India who tweeted, “#Android4.4 #KitKat is here for your #HTCOnedualsim, #HTCOnemax &#HTCOnemini.”
The single SIM version of the device already received the Android 4.4 update. Although there’s no changelog of the update, it should bring a similar set of features introduced in the single SIM version, including the Sense 5.5 UI and all the goodies that come as a part of the Android 4.4 KitKat.
If you didn’t receive the magical notification as of now, do not fret as it might take a few days for every device to get the taste of the latest operating system. If you’re too impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > About >Software Updates.
Let us know if you received the update. On the other hand, if these devices are getting the update in India, it shouldn’t take too long for other regions to get the update as well.
