Building on the design of his original rope tie concept the Fish Bone Knotless Gear Tie that was also launched over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website.
Brent Garcia has now developed the design even further to provide a quick an easy way of tying down anything that needs to be kept in place while being transported such as a quad bike, surfboards, bikes or anything else. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Diesel Fish “Ultimate Rope Tie” project and see it in action.
The Diesel Fish project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise just $2,000 pledges to become a reality. Brent explains a little more :
“Diesel Fish are a quick, simple, secure way to tie your gear. Anywhere you would use a knot, you can use Diesel Fish. It’s designed for rope 1/2″ diameter or smaller and also works with flat webbing. This big fish is so simple you can even tie it wearing boxing gloves!
Two years ago we created Fish Bone Knotless Gear Tie. Thanks to backer feedback, we went on to create Piranha. Since then we’ve learned more and more from our backers, perfect strangers, and everyone in between. We’ve learned a lot about how people use rope and what they prefer. We’ve especially learned how design and manufacturing effect one another.
Diesel Fish is the sum of our knowledge, experience, and feedback. We went back to the drawing board, kept what was good, and improved what needed to be better. We’re not done yet. Your support will connect us to the machinery we need to finish it. “
So if you think Diesel Fish is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Diesel Fish become a reality.
