Surfers and snowboarders that would also like to be able to make the most of their time whilst in the concrete jungle are sure to enjoy this new CitySurf board, called the DESKA.
The DESKA has been designed to be the world’s first city surf board and is fitted with a disk brake system, together with windsurf straps and the ability to add a windsurf sail if desired, and you have room to manover. Check out the video after the jump to learn more about this innovative surf vehicle that can help you navigate the in an environment.
The DESKA city surf board project is currently over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website looking to raise $20,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production, and is almost half way there already with still 20 days to go.
“I looked around and could not find the board I dreamed of on the market. So I decided to build it myself. I made DESKA for those who love extreme sports, It’s for windsurfers, kiteboarders, snowboarders and more. It’s more than a skateboard -it’s an experience you have never had before. It’s DESKA..
One of the most helpful features when you use the board in the city. Just stop any time you want! You can use the board with or without the brake system! You can remove it in just two minutes.
You can set the straps to right-footed or left-footed positions if you’re cruising in the city without a sail. Set it on the middle when you use it as a windsurf. You can also remove it if you want to use the board without straps. Use it however you like! The strap system makes your jumps easier and safer in the city. It’s also helpful for emergency braking!”
The DESKA project is currently over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
