The team over at iFixit have been busy with the tools again, this time dismantling the new Dell Streak to reveal all its secrets.
The iFixit team found the Dell Streak a very easy device to tear down to its bare components and have discovered a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon CPU powering the device. Together with cameras very similar in type to the ones used in the Apple iPhone 4.
iFixit have also now launched a new scoring system for the devices they tear down to grade them on ease of repair with a ‘fixability’ rating. The Dell Streak starts the ball rolling with an impressive 8 out of 10.
You can view the full tear down on the iFixit website.
