Photographer Benedikt Hartmann based in Wuppertal, Germany has created a new camera lens which he says is the most “versatile and lightweight creativity” lens available. Capable of razor-sharpness with dreamy bokeh and intense colours. Watch the demonstration video embedded below to learn more about the unique Citograph 50 f 2.8 camera lens.
Being promoted as the sharpest art lens ever produced the Citograph 50 f 2.8 lens offers great colour accuracy and “intense expression of the colourful life around you” says Benedikt. The Citograph 50 lens is now available to back via Kickstarter with limited pricing set to $599 for the first ten worldwide backers, after which the price steadily rises to $900. If all goes well the Citograph 50 lens will start shipping out to backers during November/December 2018.
“Did it ever bother you that you have to make a choice between an art lens and a razor sharp standard 50 mm lens? Are you looking for a lens that is both at the same time: an art lens with an exceptional bokeh but also a crystal sharp modern type lens? This is the call for the perfect all-in-one 50mm standard lens: let’s combine razor sharp pictures with a wonderful bokeh and overwhelming colors in one pancake lens.”
