Chinese hardware manufacturer Chuwi has this week unveiled a new dual boot tablet in the form of the Chuwi Vi10, that has been designed to provide users with both Windows and Android operating systems on one device.
The Chuwi Vi10 as you might expect will be available first in China priced at around $129 or 799 Yuan, as well as being made available with a leather keyboard case for around $145 or 899 Yuan.
The new dual boot tablet comes preloaded with Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 and Google’s Android 4.4 operating systems, although Chuwi is currently working on releasing an Android 5.0 update in the near future.
The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor supported by 2GB of RAM and includes 32GB of internal storage for the operating system and documents. Chuwi have also included a handy microSD card slot to expand the internal memory even further if required to a maximum of 128GB.
Other features of the dual boot tablet include a micro USB port together with a HDMI port and a 8000 mAh battery. No details at the present time have been released by Chuwi as to when or if the tablet will be made available worldwide, but as soon as any more information comes to light we will keep you updated.
