3DPrinterOS Cloud Based 3D Printer Operating System

Those of you lucky enough to own a 3D printer might be interested to know that a new cloud-based operating system designed specifically to control 3D printers has finally been launched in the form of 3DPrinterOS.

The 3DPrinterOS has been designed to provide a free user-friendly operating system and user interface for managing 3D printing files and 3D printing hardware.

3DPrinterOS Cloud Based 3D Printer Operating System

The new 3D printer operating system currently supports files saved as CAD, STL, AMF, PLY, OBJ, STL, Gcode formats and has been designed to be compatible with any desktop 3D printer currently available. CEO John Dogru explains a little more :

“Much as the current era of modern computing was revolutionized by the standardization delivered by Microsoft’s DOS operating system, we’re ushering in the next phase of 3D printing with our advanced networked operating system.

We’ve designed 3DPrinterOS to deliver a standard interface that puts simple tools in the hands of users at all skill levels. Now anyone with a 3D printer can connect it to our platform so that it can be accessed from any Web-enabled device, anywhere in the world.”
