Hardware manufacturer Chuwi has this week announced the availability to preorder its new Chuwi Lapbook SE computer system for online retailers such as Gearbest priced from $270, if you preorder between August 13th and August 20th 2018. After which the price will rise to $300. For your money you receive a Chuwi Lapbook SE laptop powered by an Intel Celeron N4100 quad-core Gemini Lake processor supported by 4GB of RAM and equipped with 32GB of eMMC storage together with a larger a 128GB solid state drive (SSD).
If you are looking for even more SSD storage, higher capacity drives can be fitted by removing the 128GB SSD. Other features of the laptop include 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a microSD card reader which can also be used to expand the on-board storage even further if required.
Other features of the laptop include dual microphones a two megapixel web camera and integrated support for Microsoft’s Cortana personal voice assistant. Chuwi have also included a rechargeable 33.7 Wh battery that is capable of providing users with up to 8 hours of runtime from a single charge. Has also fitted the Lapbook SE with connectivity via both Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11ac.
