Coffee connoisseurs looking for a truly portable coffee making system, are sure to be intrigued by a new portable personal coffee brewer called the BRuX. Which takes the form of a minimalist bottle that its creators say “brews ridiculously good coffee for those on the go.”

The development team behind BRuX explain a little more about its inspiration and design :
Up till now, there just wasn’t a way to achieve the smooth, refined flavor of a pour-over brew that could go anywhere and make it all really easy. So we rolled out our ideas over a nine month period and redesigned everything from the ground up! The result? An all-in-one coffee system that turns any grind into a handcrafted masterpiece.
Not only is the BRuX the most versatile pour-over brewer, it’s also the bottle you drink out of! Rest assured, we engineered the heck out of the BRuX to ‘just work’. Because there is no transfer of liquid from pot to cup, the coffee stays hot longer. Now, that’s what we call efficiency.
Flavor Is Everything: Our pour-over system combined with fine paper filters accentuate the sweet undertones in every brew, while minimizing any harsh acidic taste. But, then again, so do many pour-over systems. What makes BRuX unique is that you can take it with you anywhere — to work, the campground, or on any adventure your day/weekend may hold.
We’ve done away with flimsy plungers and complex assemblies in favor of a super clean and elegant design. A stainless steel container guarantees durability, while double-wall vacuum insulation ensures that your coffee stays hot for hours. It has taken us over 30 iterations of our initial idea to get here. But it was all worth it because with each iteration came improvements that make the BRuX so unique.
