At this years NAB digital media show, Blackmagic has unveile two new camera it has added to its range in the form of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Production Camera 4K.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera is priced at $995 and is capable of capturing 1080p video with 13 stops of dynamic range.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera is fitted with a Super 16-sized sensor, and captures its recorded footage directly to SD cards, and features a Micro Four Thirds mount, but adapters can open up the variety of lenses that can be used with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera even further. Blackmagic design explains:

Get true digital film images with feature film style 13 stops of dynamic range, Super 16 sensor size, high quality lossless CinemaDNG RAW and Apple ProRes™ recording and the flexibility of an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount, all packed into an incredibly tiny size!
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera records 1080HD resolution ProRes 422 (HQ) files direct to fast SD cards, so you can immediately edit or color correct your media on your laptop.
